Re: Ok I really need help..
Don't be a D*ck. By the looks of it they have a 6800 and you only have a 6700 thats means you need a new phone..

Re: Ok I really need help..
Careful!! I had a 6800 and sent it back as it was a POS compared to my 6700. You might want to watch your language and attitude. It sounds to me like something has gone wrong hardware-wise and the handset should be replaced. A guy with 9 posts that tells of us a problem and doesn't tell us what ROM he's running? Well, do you really think he has flashed a hacked ROM?

Re: Ok I really need help..
See if you would have answered him like that the first time all would have been well. Sometimes a guy with 9 posts might need a little more help and be asked to say what kind of rom he has, not just a rude comment. Any way I don't think his post count should matter this isn't the bargain Trader section where you need 50 posts to sell a phone hes asking for help. To him or myself every problem is serious if ya think you broke you ppc and cant fix it.

Re: Ok I really need help..
Ok sorry, I don't know but this is the first time I have been able to get on this site to add more to forums. I am use Rom 2.17, not a custom rom. Using the Ppc-6800(mogul I think). I didn't have this problem until after I got a new min us handset(the one that comes with the phone) from a sprint store. I picked it up in the morn turned on a tune and plugged in the handset. I think it might have been that problem where when you jiggle it in the us socket.

JMR:
Just take the phone to a SPCS store and explain what happened. Obviously something associated with the headset you tried has done bad juju to either the handset hardware or the OS software. I'm guessing that the handset is still under warranty and the fact that you plugged in a Sprint headset from a Sprint store should cover you. You have a standard OS on the handset, they should replace it for you without issue. Hope you have a back-up file set. That will make the reload easier. Good Luck and watch for trolls. RMD |
