Just take the phone to a SPCS store and explain what happened. Obviously something associated with the headset you tried has done bad juju to either the handset hardware or the OS software. I'm guessing that the handset is still under warranty and the fact that you plugged in a Sprint headset from a Sprint store should cover you. You have a standard OS on the handset, they should replace it for you without issue. Hope you have a back-up file set. That will make the reload easier.
