I agree with this post. I, on the other hand, was just making a suggestion

I come to the Geeks so I don't have to deal with Sprint. If Sprint knew what was going on, places like PPC Geeks would not be needed. But as a Person not a Sprint Rep "Welcome to the site Sman". I must say since you let the cats out of the bag about you and Sprint being in bed together get ready for some silly questions.....If I where you I would turn off my IM's now.HA Jk

First, welcome to the site as lsme420 has already said!

Second, I think you'll get a ton of "enable our MMS on the server side or add it as a damn feature" requests, so I'll throw hy hat into that ring as well. If you are looking for a good quote to give to the higher ups, a user posted that "we spent ~$600 on a phone that does not have a feature one of their 'free' phones comes with as a standard feature."

I don't think the fact that the feature is included on a "free" phone would be very convincing; the devices are, after all, targeted to different audiences. However, explanations of why the feature is important to business users, or users that otherwise have need of a PDA phone, might eventually convince them.

Nah, I'm up for more memory, instead of MMS, but I'm with Alltel so we've already got MMS

Good point, but business users are people too! Also, I have picture messaging as an option on my plan. I pay for that option, so why shouldn't I be able to send MMS?

Welcome to the forums Sman, hope we don't scare you off too quickly.

Guys, let's try to be realistic with issues we post. Asking him to magically make another 128 MB of memory appear in your Mogul is useless, and we all know it. It's one thing to ask for software/firmware upgrades, but hardware changes are another thing entirely. The odds of Sprint and HTC altering the Mogul production lines to include additional memory are 0%. It cannot and will not happen. If they did upgrade the memory, they would give it a new name, and charge you more for it.

Now asking for a fix to MMS is perfectly reasonable, and while this lone Sprint rep certainly won't be able to fix it, it's still a deserving thing to ask for.
