Its a real common problem, it happened to me too, I brought it to a local sprint store (I have insurance) and they just replaced it free of charge.

but i dont have tep on my phone what can i do then? and also i have the old stock of moguls with the pocket pc stamp on it i dont want to give that up
|
|
||||
I dont understand what the pocketpc stamp is or why its worth anything but you can feel free to add the insurance on now, wait a week then take it in to be tested and replaced. thats about your only option

I thought you could only add TEP during your first 30 days. Nevertheless, I had the same problem and they never even asked me if I had TEP. I think problems like defective phones are paid for by sprint.

Something to help in the meantime is to assign the green button to one of the other buttons using AE Button Plus

For sure, just take it in to a local service center and ask em, I would still ask about adding the protection, its definitely a must do in my case.

Getting Sprint to replace your phone due to a hardware defect is quite easy, regardless of insurance or 30 day period (assuming you don't do something dumb like make it sound like you did something wrong).
I usually do it through eCare/*2 and by mail though, so I can't really comment on in-store. |

does someone have an example of how i should start it? i tried calling and i was flat out rejected so i would to try ecare thru mail but i cant find the email. if anyone can help thanks in advance
