IMHO for now try just a hard reset 1st, then see if it still gives you trouble. (no need to go through a lengthy process if you don't have to.)

If it does give you the same issues, reflash & hard-reset...

I dont want to change the topic but... I'm interested in more info on PRL's. Just out of curiosity I checked my own and noticed my prl was 60608. If we're now up to 11 should I change. Im guilty of being up on the "Jones'" but also like to keep in mind if it aint broke... I dont have any signal issuses, so im wondering if it really just depends on the area in which you live.

Its good to have but if things are running ok for you, just sit back until Sprint tells you to update it.

IMHO if you're planning on traveling further than your norm, I'd do it.

Well damnit. I've tried everything. The damn thing still stops notifying me of messages and calls. It wakes the screen up, but doesn't vibrate or play a sound or anything. But waking the screen up doesn't do a whole lot when it's in my belt holster.

I dunno what else to try, thinking I might have to kick it back at Sprint and switch to a BB Pearl or something, though I don't think I'd like suretype

Then the one you have is faulty.

IMHO if you haven't already, signup for equipment protection and get a replacement...

I'm still within my 30 days so I can cancel/switch to a different phone with no problems. Maybe I'll give another mogul a try and if I still have problems I'll go to a Pearl, or maybe by then the Curve will be here. I dunno..

I appreciate all the help though! Thank you!

I don't understand what is causing my problem here. I tried switching out the handset at a different Sprint store and I still have the problem. How does nobody else have this problem? Boggles the mind, really.. It does it even on a stock setup, no third party programs, official ROM, etc. Will play sounds/vibrate for txt messages for awhile then it will just stop and the only thing it will do is wake up the screen. The only way to get the alerts back is to soft reset, but then they only work for 15 min to an hour or two is all. I just soft resetted 30 min ago and it worked for the first message I got, then I just got another message and all it did was light up the screen. Driving me nuts.

I tried upgrading to no2chem's WM6.1 build 5042 and it still does the problem.
