The thing I've been digging about Live Search is the Movies feature. Unlike many online movie thingies, it actually has ALL of the theaters, and it's super convenient to Map All and see where the closest one is when you are out of town.

I used be on Sprint with the Mogul and the speak function on the Live Search program worked great. Now I have the 6800 on Alltel and every time I try to use the speak function, I get an error that says "Sorry, we were unable to complete your request. Try again." Do you know anything about incompatibility with the latest stock Alltel rom or are there any other programs that render the speak function useless? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am on Verizon,moved from a 6700 to a 6800. I have noticed the same "Sorry".

I think it is a memory issue. IF you reset or close a bunch of programs. It works. I have been using a very heavy ROM. Nextvision's Hybrid.

I am going to try a lighter ROM, plus goto 6.1

I want to make live work. It rocks! Free voice directory assistance is great. Plus you can say the starting and ending address in for routing. Road, city and state

Is it possible to set up, or does anyone know of a plug-in to have Live Search do text to speech for the directions at the bottom of the screen when using the GPS to follow a route? If it could do that, it would be close enough to the commercial GPS programs for me.

does anyone know what is the latest build of this program? in the settings menu it tells me that an update is available, but when i try to download i get the same download hang that has been reported for the past 2 weeks. i'm just wondering if there is a newer version than what i have, or if there's a 'ghost in the shell' on my version

i have the latest version, i downloads fine if you find the cab from the computer. I can post it if someone needs it. Still no voice prompts but works great once satelittes are locked. shoot me a PM if u need it nautica
