when you say you reflashed do you mean you hard reset? or did u completely load the 3.16 rom again??
I am having the same problem and it is really annoying me.

You can not surpress the legal notice screen as this is required by law for you to accept.

Also, to prevent having to open google maps and then tomtom, search the forums for the GPS initiator thread. This allows you to run a quick app that will open the GPS port and then launch tomtom or any other navigation program. I'll try and find a link and post it. I have this with TomTom and it works beautifuly!

Baffles made a program that opens the gps port and then opens the program of your choice. Works great.
