Tom Tom 6 Not working with new Beta GPS Rom. Help =)

I have an issue with Tom Tom 6 not working on the new Titan beta GPS rom. Google maps, Live search works perfect. Tom Tom 6 keeps coming up with no GPS Device Found. If anyone can help me out here I would be greatful. I have other NMEA GPS reciever with com 4 selected with 9600 baud. I have tried 4800 as well.

I reflashed the phone once more and now when I launch google maps and aquire the satellites, I can launch Tom Tom 6 and in about 30 seconds it finds the internal GPS and works. Overall besides this frustration I am pretty happy with the beta rom.

As stated in other threads.. you must launch either live serch or google map to initiate the GPS driver first then launch tomtom.. do not close either app..

two of our own guys here is trying to come up with a solution for this.

That is correct but it was not working for my titan. I then reflashed again and now it works if I launch Google maps aquire the satellites and then launch TomTom. It takes about 30 seconds for TomTom 6 to go live.

Tom tom 6 used to be free correct? can anyone point me to the free version, i havent been able to find it... TIA

Tom Tom 6 I believe was never free. You can find it torrent sites though =P

OK for anyone who uses tomtom 6 is there any way to suppress the annoying green I agree screen everytime you launch the program?

You can not surpress the legal notice screen as this is required by law for you to accept.

Also, to prevent having to open google maps and then tomtom, search the forums for the GPS initiator thread. This allows you to run a quick app that will open the GPS port and then launch tomtom or any other navigation program. I'll try and find a link and post it. I have this with TomTom and it works beautifuly!
