Just googled mugen mogul and got a number of hits, so I will check out the comments.

BTW, here is a link for an 1800 mAh battery that appears to be standard size: http://www.mugenpowerbatterijen.nl/pda_htc.html (see bottom of page).

Since you specifically asked about OEM batteries, the UTStarcom BTE6800 is the largest at 2100ma. This is the battery sold on the Sprint web site for $49.99. I bought one last week. Although in this link they say the back is black, I received silver. From the first complete charge at 6:30pm Friday, the battery didn't reach 10% until 8:23pm on Sunday. I charged it overnight Sunday and topped it off at work at about 3pm on Monday and as of 6am Wednesday as I post this, it's still at 70%. I don't believe it either!

If I use my XV6800 a lot, then I get about a day of battery life. Otherwise I get 2 days.

I have been using the bigger battery for quite awhile and love it. Yes it seems to take forever to get fully charged but the life is great.
I usually have the travel charger nearby so I can plug into whatever is handy if required. Also have the original battery in the bag as well so usually I am covered for most situations.

I have this battery. It only adds 1/4" like it says. I us Push Mail all day long. I have it set to connect at 6am and check every 15 min and stops at 8pm. I talk about 2-3 hours a day on my phone along with 20-30 texts and about 1 hour of web browsing. I live in a 1x area on EVDO yet for me. I am now able to use my phone for almost 2 days with out charging it until about 5pm on the second day. I have been taking it off he charger at about 8am and at 8pm at night I still have about 60% battery left

i have a mugen 3600 from ebay and yes the extra depth is like the width of the top of the phone when slid out. i keep the phone in my pants pocket when it's not on my desk and it's not uncomfortable. after having this battery for about two weeks, i still almost go 2 full days from a full charge.

That's pretty impressive. The link indicates that it is 12mm / 0.47" thick. Thus, it sounds like it adds 1/4" to the thickness of the Titan/6800. Is that correct?

My initial thought was "Damn! That's pretty big!", but it only took a short time before it became "normal"... and now that I'm not having to keep charging it, I won't go back. The difference in weight is minimal (+15 grams) to an already relatively heavy device.

Re: what is the most powerful OEM sized battery for the mogul?

Hello all,

I found this, it looks like a compromise between the heavy duty extended batteries and the standard battery size, thus the capacity is in-between (2400 MAH). The is price is where it may win peopel over.
