White Spots

I think I'm the only one in this thread with the white spot occurring closer to the upper right corner when in portrait mode.

there's almost no point in me trying to get it replaced if the same problem will eventually occur on the new phone.

Unless the newer models come with a different hardware revision which corrects this problem :-\

Same problem here. Seems like hardware defect then, which really sucks.

same problem. noticed it within a few weeks of having the phone. its gotten to be a little brighter and I can see it on other colors besides white also.anyone else noticing that when you text, etc. on a white screen, the screen actually changes shades of white with each character entry?another screen issue on my g/f,s first mogul, the screen completely shut down. she still had the sliding sound and it *seemed* to be alive but we couldn't get any screen, it was just black. hard reset didn't fix it either. im about to take mine in for replacement due to the screen dot, and my memo button somehow falling down slightly into the housing. also one of the teflon/plastic sliding pieces on either side of the phone hasfallen off. and some of the keyboard keys aren't working with a normal press anymore. you have to press a little harder. weird.

I have a spot in the lower left (portrait mode). I can really only see it in white bg's, but it's getting brighter and is starting to bug the crap out of me.

Think this is grounds for getting sprint to replace the phone? I'm out of my 30 days by about 2 weeks.

the color changing is pretty common too...the slide to unlock hypothesis is a good guess. i didn't have it on my phone for the first few months tho (wish i did) and the dot was still there.

It may be a hardware defect but my current phone which I have had for about a month now does not have them. I'm sorry but I cant see settling for a defect on a phone that is worth so much. If I am not mistaken it is still sprints most expensive phone. If (when) the spots develope on my current phone will move to yet another mogul.
