***update***

i said I didnt really use slick that much, but im starting to really like it, filesharing, it shows when the other person is typing, and i can close the thread out, and go back to it...and its still there!!! palringo deletes the thread everytime you close it...decisions decisions!

Hey, I found something similar to the OZ messenger that uses SMS instead of data for the Instant Messaging... I haven't downloaded it yet.. Here is the site.

I just got it on my phone and I think i read it wrong.. I think it might be basically like a threaded SMS... I dont see anyway to add AIM people or whatever..

this is a threaded sms software...but says it can run on WINMo Pro..looks VERY VERY promising..i may delete cody's threaded sms and try this. I know this is the wrong thread but I think im about to make the jump and compare the two. HERE WE GO!!!

I'm more concerned with battery life, I had IM+ on my Moto Q and it was piss poor (4 hours tops), I don't mind plugging the phone in every night, just as long as it makes it home with me still on. Something my Moto seldom did.
