I'm more concerned with battery life, I had IM+ on my Moto Q and it was piss poor (4 hours tops), I don't mind plugging the phone in every night, just as long as it makes it home with me still on. Something my Moto seldom did.

I have tried mulitple instant messengers and still have yet to find one I like that works. I really liked palringo for the ten minutes it worked but now it doesn't work at all. im sure im not the only one with an alltel htc 6800 having problems with palringo, it seems to be a common thing. slick sucks and is cheesey looking. I like im+ but its not free so I guess I need to find something else. just my two cents

There is no AIM app that does it all, they all have their failings.

Palringo is my favorite out of the 4 that I have tried. It works flawlessly, it's easy to use, does not drop connection (unless I want it to), and best of all FREE.

There's still one file to delete and it's located in:

\windows\startup\

Delete the palingo file from there, and you're all-set on your next reboot.

Ok I guess I'm retarded because I don't see this so called "startup" menu.
I deleted the .cab, and I browsed all the folders through activesync and I still do not see anything. I did however see it when I ran MemMaid but it would let me delete it because I don't have the full version I guess.

So yeah help me out because this is really annoying.

Your file browser is probably hiding system files/hidden files.
