my mogul fell in the toilet recently. i immediately removed the battery, dried it by fan and then blow dryer when i got home. after about 14 hours, i powered it back on. the screen was dim and washed out and lines across the display as one person described previously. other than that it works perfectly fine. i think the battery lasts longer now too.

My phone also fell in toilet, but it was my Treo 700wx...removed battery...let it dry for a week without putting battery in, and a week later voila...works perfect...the key is not to ruch the drying process or you'll damage

A better desicant might be MgCl2. Its available,as a desicant from places like bed bath and beyond.I forget the name its sold under. Ask your wife,she probobally knows =)
