may also be your input settings. using my conversion software, i have to know the input rate (there are about 3-4 different common rates, from 24fps to 30fps), otherwise results are garbage. sometimes takes me a couple of goes, but i always get a great compression afterward.

Just make sure you set it to the PPC profile, which encodes things at 320x240.
I downloaded that program, which one of those devices is the equivalent of a ppc?

All of this talk about video/DVD conversion and not a mention of file sizes....

I use DVDecrypter, DivX, and Plato. I get a full movie w/25fps down to 150-225MB in a 3gp file type.

What file sizes are you getting?

Using SPB Mobile DVD I converted:

National Treasure
The Movie is 2hrs and 10minutes long
Frame Rate 29.03
313Kbit/s
File Size 260MB

MI2
2hrs 3min long
Frame Rate 27.7
333Kbit/s
File Size 248MB

Underworld
2hrs 1min
Frame Rate 29.97
405Kbit/s
File Size 268MB

All play smoothly with TCPMP in both .avi and .wmv format (using wm9 wm5 codec .dlls)
