Generally you don't want to terminate the phone program. This can cause problems. If your task manager has an exception list I would add phone to it so it doesn't cause you problems.

No, runing iaccarino's mobile task manager after a phone conversation the phone process is still running. You cant see it in the normal task manager.

There may be something to this theory.
Several times, I have been playing a game that stalls because of lack of RAM. The game pops up a warning saying that something needs to be closed (showing a list with radio buttons). Every time this happens there are at least three (phone)s in the list, sometimes five or more. |

@nosmohtac,
That would be some of the bad things I would be talking about. @johnnychimpo, correct. The phone process should always be running. Otherwise the phone won't work. It is excluded from the running programs list that is standard from the OS. However, third party task managers don't usually exclude it. When you try to close the phone program using a third party manager it starts acting weird. This conversation has happened many times over in the iLauncher and Wisbar Advance forums. |

the phone works just fine when the process is shut down after a call is received or made.
I dont think it needs to run, its just not shut down properly when you exit our or hit the end key. IMO. |

I'm no programmer, so this may have been hashed over in another forum already, but it doesn't seem logical. |
