That would be some of the bad things I would be talking about.

correct. The phone process should always be running. Otherwise the phone won't work. It is excluded from the running programs list that is standard from the OS. However, third party task managers don't usually exclude it. When you try to close the phone program using a third party manager it starts acting weird.

This conversation has happened many times over in the iLauncher and Wisbar Advance forums.
