I also have another idea, if someone would do it.
Is there a possible way to modify the screen brightness without touching the screen? Like start> hit s for settings hit b for backlight would this be possible so I could change it? Ughhhh |

Open the keyboard and follow this...
Windows key, S, directional pad up, directional pad right, directional pad up, B, directional pad center click (for okay), left and right arrow on this page will control battery power backlight settings. If you press the directional pad down arrow one time you will be at the external power backlight settings. Of course, all of this will work assuming you start at the today screen. Good luck buddy! |

It's REALLY stupid that they let you turn the backlight OFF. I mean once its off, how do they expect you to turn the damn thing back on? It's like a break-me button.

I swear that my 700wx and ppc6700 used to do this on their own! lol
I noticed that even with the backlight all the way off I could tilt the phone into sunlight and see enough to navigate to the settings and jack the light level back to normal.
