Im running vista ultimate on my PC.

I also put the registry edits into the registry with PHM registry editor.. SO yes we need to keep working on this problem Because so far my 6700 had more functionality and ability than its predecessor the 6800.....
Have you tried connecting to the computer before you tap IS. I do believe this will help.

It would appear that Verizon has a tighter grip on the Titan.

I have the same result with the ics package. USB Modem from Mobile Stream works, but it also has it's quirks. After using it you have to kill the program before voice and data will work again. It said it was connnecting at 900 kbps, but through testing I was only getting about 180kbps, with 3 EVDO bars.

I think internet sharing is the best solution if we can figure out how to install it correctly. If only there was a simple .cab file...

all u do is be in the internet sharing menu. but do not connect phone thr usb cable. hit connect. then when it says check cables then hook it up and it should work. i use it all the time. when i tried first i would connect the cables first and never get passed the local connect . connecting on the phone then hooking up wires makes it work. hope this helps. sorry not the greatest typer lol

And you have done this with an xv6800 not the sprint phone?

I've tried both ways because the 6700 worked this way you hit connect before plugging it in but neither method on the 6800 appears to work so we must not be installing the software right or something.... As somebody else said if only there as a .cab file

One thing that I used to do is hit the PIE button and wait to connect to the Internet then connect the USB cable. Worth a shot, just one extra step. Beats an extra $15/month.
