Getting "Signal Faded"

I have seen some users say that 60611 only works properly on radio 1.47. Maybe try 60610 or upgrade to 1.47?

bakntyme, I was able to resolve it by going to 1.40 Radio and 60608 PRL.

to elaborate: previously I was running 2.17 ROM, 1.47.01 Radio and PRL 60611 and it would lock up frequently.

I thought the gps was to be enable. I went threw all 27 page and didn't see anyone say that the gps works. Is it working?

No, no GPS in the 2.17 rom.

It seems like this rom (or at least the radio part) either works great, or is horrible, depending on your mogul.

where do i get PRL version 60611

Can you not run a custom ROM on top of the new HTC 2.17 ROM for Sprint or something? Each ROM I've tried whether from the bootloader screen or while the device is on I get 0% and an ERROR [262] which is a communication error. Do I have to turn on the enhanced networking option in the connection settings for USB for this to work properly? I have that turned off Just so ActiveSync will work. This has been frustrating me for days, I wanted the 2.17 rom from HTC to fix their issues, now I just want a modded rom to work so I dont have to waste time installing separate CABS with the programs I want.. HTC Home, iLock, etc..


ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! OH PLEASE!

Stop into a SRS a request a PRL update or call into Sprint Customer care and request for a PRL Update. Once you've been flagged for a PRL update you dial *2 and follow the voice prompts.

Have you properly run the unlocker? If not, consider whether you really should be flashing custom ROMs...if you still think so, then search...or just look at the sticky threads.
