All three are clearly more than you were able to do while reading these posts.

Second, you need to pay more attention to what people are posting. I didn't say it didn't have ANY issues, I said the issues described above didn't match the issues of myself or normal people, and they certainly aren't consistent with a manufacturing issue.

Third, what the hell does memory have to do with the issue being discussed of GPS and/or Wifi overheating? Answer: Nada, Zilch, Zip, Nothing. You don't like the amount of RAM in it? Neither do I, but I use a task manager and problem solved. So why don't you try being helpful instead of part of the problem?

If you're going to flame someone, at least take the time to know who you're flaming, and try to discuss the issue at hand rather than making up new issues just to fake that you have a point, jackass.

Maybe the real problem is that you feel cheated for not having GPS, even though until the latest firmware upgrade, it was NOT a promised feature of the 6800-series with Sprint. If that's the case, you just proved that you don't pay very close attention to details, and you don't research very well. Since you ask, let me spell it out for you about the wireless overheating topic:

Ive got one for you. The device overheats when you run the wifi with heavy traffic. All of the phones do it,but many people dont notice becuase they dont run the wifi with alot of trafic. Dont even try to tell me I shouldnt be running alot of trafic over wifi.

Forums are for conversations... do try to keep up. I can tell by your post count that you SHOULDN'T be all that new to the concept.
Forums are for conversations.. not "The phone doesnt have any problems, so I dont know what all of YOU are doing wrong with the phone" conversations. I'd say many of us are in IT, im not old so ive only got 8 years under my belt but claiming you have hair doesnt make you an expert on how to style it. If you dont have anything constructive just stfu, i responded to you because of your "all the phones problems are your own fault" bullshit you were spouting.

back on topic

Good to see the GPS info is linking but sad to say Sprint is being VERY vague with its description.. which usually means trouble.

It was a good thread.. just used blah cause i couldnt remember the name of it and im not in an EVDO area so it wouldve taken forever to go back and copy the title.

Its good to see that someone took things a step further though... I just want a kaiser or something that does everything a 6-700$ phone should do. In a perfect world the update will unlock the full gpsONE or integrate an api layer so, if it is, in fact, locked into sprint nav we will be able to route coordinates elsewhere, and then when wm 6.1 hits im hoping it reduces memory overhead.. which wont happen but I can dream.

GPS is really my biggest gripe.. followed but the unresponciveness of the OS.. ive avoided my bt headset because of the horror stories on here and, despite the fact that a 600$ phone should be able to multitask, I usually only run one program at a time to curb the ram issue.. I just want gps without an external adapter.

Last I checked, the conversation was about GPS and EVDO Rev. A, and other Sprint Mogul ROM matters. Someone said they were having trouble, canospinach and I were discussing the matter. You're the one dragging things off topic to flame us with petty namecalling. You're right, you're not "old" at all, because you act like you're 2. You wanna preach about us getting back on topic, maybe you should take your own advice and either join the constructive discussion you are blatantly ignoring while flaming the rest of us.

Interesting. Frankly, that is a very bad sales rep to be suggesting your dad wait. Why wait at all? He could get the device now and flash it later. So now instead of having a sale on the Q4 '07 sheets (a critical time for any retailer), he might get one in Q1 '08. If I were a manager and had overheard that agent, he'd be unemployed before I let him make that commission.

Dont take this the wrong way man, but we have to keep it professional, even in our disputes.

I reported you for the use of "STFU" and for what appears to be flaming.

Your other posts are fine, you just cant say these kinds of things.

As both you and GoodThings2life know, you are both allowed your opinions. If the other thread were any example once we kill civility its all brutal personal attacks which really becomes off topic.

We are human here, and it's no different to have things get verbally heated then anywhere else in the development cycle in any lab/corporation. Maybe it's a lack of noticing, but I've yet to see anything like "brutal personal attacks which really becomes off topic" on here.

Allow me to assist you.

Read this thread from beginning to end.

Aside from that, these are the forum rules:

3. Please use the search feature before starting new threads. Odds are we have already discussed your probelm.

4. No Flaming anyone, we are all friends.

5. Posting of Illegal software is not permitted. So DON'T do it.

6. We have a warning/banning system built in and we will use it.

Just follow these few simple rules and enjoy!
Verbally heated or not it can still be kept professional. I dont know of any reasonable situation wherein debating a point saying things like "STFU" is appropriate. Regardless, its against the forum rules a user agrees to when they sign up for an account.

EDIT - Personally i have yet to work in an environment, lab or not, where degrading or being anything less than professional was appropriate or accepted. In my business and businesses i work with it is expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism in all situations.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Would it be within the rules to express frustration at others by saying whatever we want via PM, since that's strictly between 2 ppl and not affecting others on here? I agree with the rules, I just want clarification if that only extends to what's said publicly or if it encroaches on PM'd conversations?
