HTC Mogul Sprint ROM - GPS and REV. A New info!

First of all, you don't even know me, so don't pretend to understand how I use my phone. I have no issues with my phone, because a) I pay attention to what the hell I'm doing, b) I find solutions to the few limitations I experience, c) I've spent 18 years in the "IT Field" beating the hell out of any technology that hits my hands. All three are clearly more than you were able to do while reading these posts.

Second, you need to pay more attention to what people are posting. I didn't say it didn't have ANY issues, I said the issues described above didn't match the issues of myself or normal people, and they certainly aren't consistent with a manufacturing issue.

Third, what the hell does memory have to do with the issue being discussed of GPS and/or Wifi overheating? Answer: Nada, Zilch, Zip, Nothing. You don't like the amount of RAM in it? Neither do I, but I use a task manager and problem solved. So why don't you try being helpful instead of part of the problem?

If you're going to flame someone, at least take the time to know who you're flaming, and try to discuss the issue at hand rather than making up new issues just to fake that you have a point, jackass.

Maybe the real problem is that you feel cheated for not having GPS, even though until the latest firmware upgrade, it was NOT a promised feature of the 6800-series with Sprint. If that's the case, you just proved that you don't pay very close attention to details, and you don't research very well. Since you ask, let me spell it out for you about the wireless overheating topic:

Forums are for conversations.. not "The phone doesnt have any problems, so I dont know what all of YOU are doing wrong with the phone" conversations. I'd say many of us are in IT, im not old so ive only got 8 years under my belt but claiming you have hair doesnt make you an expert on how to style it. If you dont have anything constructive just stfu, i responded to you because of your "all the phones problems are your own fault" bullshit you were spouting.

Good to see the GPS info is linking but sad to say Sprint is being VERY vague with its description.. which usually means trouble.

Last I checked, the conversation was about GPS and EVDO Rev. A, and other Sprint Mogul ROM matters. Someone said they were having trouble, canospinach and I were discussing the matter. You're the one dragging things off topic to flame us with petty namecalling. You're right, you're not "old" at all, because you act like you're 2. We are human here, and it's no different to have things get verbally heated then anywhere else in the development cycle in any lab/corporation. Maybe it's a lack of noticing, but I've yet to see anything like "brutal personal attacks which really becomes off topic" on here.

Would it be within the rules to express frustration at others by saying whatever we want via PM, since that's strictly between 2 ppl and not affecting others on here? I agree with the rules, I just want clarification if that only extends to what's said publicly or if it encroaches on PM'd conversations?

Thats a very good question.

You want to approach a Mod to ask that for specific clarification.

However if you look at the rules they appear to be for the forum as a whole.

Here is the unspoken rule of thumb: (in my words)

Be Civil, Be Decent, Be Intelligent.

Again i dont know of any situation where it is appropriate to be anything less than professional, public or private message included. I would not say something to someone privately which i would not say publicly.
