Well, they probably COULD get away with it; legally. But it certainly wouldn't be a good idea.

(In fact, if they didn't want to release another update, killing the device and saying "it was killed for massive technical failings" would be legally more acceptable than some other options. I just doubt they will kill it ahead of time).

I look at it like this. HTC made 14million dollars in profit just in the month of November of this year. I highly doubt that they would just let a phone "die" because they just don't want to fix it. They r going to come out with revision a. It is just a firmware update to make something work that they have already tested in labs. And they r going to make the GPS work also. They have already tested this too. These new guys need to stop spreading rumors about sh!t they don't even know anything about. Do you guys really believe that they just hired some dumb a$$ engineer and threw together a phone. NO! it takes years and years to develop a phone like the Mogul. Sometime there are small glitches that did not come out in the testing phase but all in all most everything works like it is suppose to.

I don't even think that some of the issues are even related to HTC. We've got to remember that this was the first phone that was shipped with WM6 and we all know how good Microsoft is at getting things right the first time... I think it's just been an uphill battle all around with this phone. The only thing I could fault HTC for is the amount of memory that they put in the phone and I'm sure this has been a big lesson for them on that aspect so I wouldn't be surprised if they do come out with a revised Mogul that does have increased system memory.

Alls I know is a Mogul with the Ram/Rom of the Touch would of saved all this BS and hassle.

I love my Mogul and don't want to swtich to BB and pay 100 a month for service or to a Touch and not have a Keyboard or Wifi.

Once the "Good" ROM comes out we will all be able to look back at this and laugh and say "back in my day" and shit

a ROM update is not going to give us 128MB of RAM...

no but the wm 6.1 update may lower the overhead required to operate the os.

/probably just the opposite will happen but its wishful thinking.

//just sent sprint an email telling them how they'll never get it right if they don't beta test with users.. you should all do the same.

Does anyone know how, or if you can downgrade your firmware back to what it was before you flashed it? I upgraded my firmware to the 2.17.651.0 with Radio 1.47.01. It works for crap. My bluetooth works when it wants to, and I have noticed several programs that do not work anymore. I would like to go back to the 2.09 from june that came in here.

How can I do this? Thanks a ton in advance.
