Haha, I feel bad for ya, Zacharybinx. My Toshiba e800 got washing machined as well. It recovered, but due to the water under the screen, taps wouldn't register so I had to buy a replacement. I hope your replacement goes well.

Its got the alltel rom, but they dont have any releases for the qwest rom.. I suppose sprint would be the best.. or I could just water damage it until it doesnt turn on at all, but I just prefer not to..

Thats pretty much whats going on.. after the whole day (and about a 15 minute trip duct taped inside a shirt in the dryer) it works 100% except for the screen.. they already sent a replacement, so I'm not too worried about the whole thing.. oh well.

Why does everyone think this? This would be the same dif as if you light a rag you put in your gas tank... You phone is not supposed to be in water or even near water, otherwise in a washing machine, if i was the agent you called, that would appear as fraud to me... "sir i need a new phone, i washed mine", im sure that is a standard type of thing to try when people want a new phone, like before your apple warranty is up you claim your battery is dying to get a new one... |
