Most of these issues are proven problems with the Mogul, not just something I experienced on my own. For example, the memory DOES leak, whether or not you think you see it.

#7, try playing a normal res video file in TCPMP using directdraw... Not like any applications use directdraw...

Well, these are tools (imperfect tools -- some more so than others) that we all use. I for one want to know the pros and cons of what I am getting into before I purchase it.

If there is what seems to you like an excessive amount of bitching, well maybe there is merit to it.

Look at rom 2.16. I guess the way you see it, one person should have brought up the issues w/it and everyone else should have just shut up.

These boards help to get a consensus on things that are occasional issues versus widespread flaws.

Now to balance that, full usefulness comes into play when both negative issues are presented along with solutions when they are available as well as tweaks and modifications.

Unfortunately some people (I'm not necessarily saying this is you) seek to justify their expenditure and/or the fact that their stuck with a lacking piece of technology for a period of time through these boards.

Just cause you decided to love the one you're with doesn't mean that a lot of others ain't gonna hate her.

I have 4 Moguls in the family and we enjoy them all, WE have no crashes or such as the like?? you put down something you know nothing about?? like said above, you don't like the Mogul then go get something else you can complain about and leave this site, nobody wants to hear this squabbling. We really like our Moguls and won't give them up. Y'all have a good whatever and remember take one day at a time..

i dunno about you guys but my mogul has been working pretty much perfectly since i bought it last august.
Its very snappy and the screen rotation is pretty much instantaneous...
I start with 24MB of ram but even after weeks it stays around 17MB. Never had low memory errors, even while playing music and using telenav at the same time.
it froze a grand total of 2 times

since ive had it, and ill blame those on the software.

all in all im very happy with my mogul but theres a touch waiting at home for me and i wont regret the switch

Are you blind and ignorant or something? How do you figure I know nothing about the Mogul? I have owned 2 of them.

And I am getting rid of it for another phone. Hey guess what? That doesn't make the problems with it invalid...

I'm not saying anyone is making things up, but not everyone is having untold numbers of problems and while I have a couple problems, I'm not overdramatizing each and every one in seemingly every single thread on this site. It's like that memory leak crap....god forbid a thread should exist without someone complaining about and what difference has it made? HTC and Sprint are aware of the problems, HTC announced an update in 2008, unless you (not specifically, you in general) want to go work for HTC and debug it, what else is there to say? If you don't want to wait that long, get another phone and be done with it. Otherwise, kick back and wait. What's the point of complaining constantly every day between now and forever?

Maybe, just maybe, my post was a response to this:

"No idea why people seem to act like the Mogul is the worst phone of all time. Then go buy an iPhone or something and shut the hell up."

I didn't know one post was the same as complaining every day?

Just curious, how many of the people having problems are former 6700 users?..remember when it came out and the issues that it had...anyways I must be lucky as I don't have any of the issues except for the alarm not working.

Damn. I caused a mini-riot.

Anyway, to answer your question Adrian2PM, I'm not entirely sure if you can exchange your phone due to it being a replacement. Even if they were to replace your Mogul with a Touch, they're still going to "ask you questions."
