Taking the Mogul back today...

But only because the ear piece vibrates if anyone with a mid/deep baritone is on the line. It sounds like the something inside ear piece is clicking when a deep resonance is emitted, annoying and quite odd actually...but, I guess that a loose speaker/ear piece is better than a non-functioning brick eh?

I'll post Sprint's "helpfulness" when I return...

Everything went well, exchanged the Mogul for a Mogul, no problems.

I did play with the touch while I was there...why, the hell, would anyone trade a Mogul for a Touch?

And, no, I'm not trying to start any "OMGWTFBBQTOUCHISBETTER!!!!1111" wars, I'm just saying, for my personal preference, Mogul > Touch.

mostly because the Mogul is getting ignored support wise.

Touch has an IM client + sprint tv, which NEVER came to the Mogul which was released WAY before the Touch was...

IM Client is a huge deal on a WM phone because the available options suck and most of them cost $$.

Hmmm, interesting points. I guess I just don't care about TV or an IM client.

But, those are both valid points that I can see people trading in for.

I agree with Nation. No idea why people seem to act like the Mogul is the worst phone of all time. Then go buy an iPhone or something and shut the hell up. This board has turned into one giant bitchfest of late. I love my Mogul, and will happily stick with it until it's succesor is released.

-Alarms don't work properly or reliably for pretty much the entire lifecycle of the phone so far (2.08 ROM, 2.09 ROM, 2.16 ROM fixed it but unstable and removed)

-BT does not work properly (All official ROMs)

-Random crashes (All official ROMs)

-Sound crashes/stops working (2.08 + 2.09, 2.16 is unstable for other reasons)

-Ridiculously quiet speaker volume (2.08 + 2.09)

-Memory leaks (All official ROMs, somewhat improved in 2.16)

-I've had 2 Moguls that crash often using IM+ (All ROMs, 2.09 was the worst)

-Poor performance on anything using directdraw

-Slow keyboard typing refresh rate (2.08 + 2.09)

-Slow screen switching from portrait to landscape (2.08 + 2.09)

-Slow screen refresh when trying to reply to email/sms

-Outlook randomly minimizes when opening emails

Yeah I have no idea why people are complaining, they should just shut up....

At least for Sprint TV add the TV cab and you will just fine.

Boy, you guys would have loved the tmobile mda. Per the drama at hand

#1: Never used it for audio but works fine with gps.
#2: Never.
#3: Never.
#4: Nope, it's plenty loud. And I'm hard of hearing!
#5: Never once had a problem with memory.
#6: Works fine for me every time.
#7: "Poor" is just drama. It's not as good as it should be but it hardly takes away from slingplayer.
#8: Sometimes.
#9: Yes.
#10: Never noticed.
#11: Never.

Overall, compared to the mda and wing, the mogul is pretty sweet. And yeah, this section has pretty much turned into a bitchfest. Too bad. Hopefully they all find phones they like sooner than later.

Yeah I know the cab works on the Mogul. It's more the point that you have to use the .cab from another phone to have that functionality on the Mogul.
