I logged in to post that scenario. I have found as long as the device is plugged into power, BT seems to stay on. It stayed on all night and I had it plugged in with the power turned off. Today BT has turned off except when I have it plugged to power.

Edit: I spoke too soon. BT has been turning off while plugged in to power. I'm trying to log when it turns off.

Something interesting though is that if I open up a program without shutting off bluetooth the dpad works in that program. I'm beginning to think this could be a compatibilty issue with something on the home screen. The only extras I have installed on the home screen are live search and the HTC home plugin.

BTW my bluetooth doesn't shut itself off. I've had it on and connected to my car for 1 hour straight with no problems.

I just sent them this message:

URGENT...

I recently followed Sprint's recommendation and upgraded my Mogul to the new ROM. It is now basically unusable. It frequently freezes and Bluetooth audio will not stay connected.

What should I do? Should I return my phone to the store for replacement since your recommended upgrade has rendered it unusable?

Thanks.

This rom is really stable without bluetooth... I'm not seeing the memory leak that I was seeing before - provided that bluetooth is OFF..

Too bad I depend on bluetooth for everything (headset/stereo headset/gps)

yeah no reliable BT is a dealbreaker to me. a smartphone just isnt as comfortable as a flip for acting as a phone, therefore BT is much more important. also its the law in my state to use a headset, and the mogul having no real headset jack is a dealbreaker for a wired headset. oi vay.

if someone can tell me of a reliable smartphone with qwerty keyboard on another carrier i will leave sprint. this is ridiculous.

I am trying to pull the bluetooth drivers from an Altell rom dump and create a 'custom' rom file to flash. I will let you know how it goes.
