HTC Mogul Sprint ROM 2.16.651.0 (old=2.09.651.3) - 10/23 - Officially Removed by HTC

Luckily I have my GF Mogul to compare both roms.

1: New ROm makes my mogul boot about 5 seconds faster.
2: Opening windows is practicly the same on both Moguls.
3: Blue tooth is still the same. I cant tell a different. KInda low still.
4: Flashy intro window is Mogulian cool.
5: Did not fix my dimmer backlight.
6: Did not fix the flicker color change when tapping the sacreen or using wheel
7: Typing lag is gone. big plus there.
8: No gps
9: No Rev.A


So in a nutshell all I got from this was a flashy intro and keyboard lag is gone and a bit fater bootup time. Good to be back fellow mogulians.......

Will I have to reload iphone theme and slingbox if I downlaoded sprite? or will they set exactly back up as I had them before?

Bluetooth is a huge difference for me. Before my car's handsfree system would read all different battery levels from my phone, and I would have a problem with people hearing me now it works flawlessly. The keyboard also works with Live Search now. Also with all the same programs that I used to have installed before I have 2 megs more free on a soft reset.

Dude, have you even attempted to read the thread? Instead of posting the same question every 30 minutes, you could go back and read that you WILL have to reinstall ANY and ALL programs, including themes.

hey guys, i wanna do this update but dont wanna lose my contacts...currently i have all my contacts backed up using NS Contact Backup.... just need/want confirmation that there are no issues getting my contacts back on

Side by side with my wifes Mogul I see a difference. I am getting 4 bars and hers shows 1-2. I am planning on flashing hers to dcd's rom tomorrow and then using my father-in-laws mogul (total OEM build- not flashed to the latest release yet) to test between all 3 builds.

"Dude", my question was...if I use "SPRITE" to save all my info will I have to reinstall my files. I understand that I would have to reinstall ANY and ALL programs if I install rom update. The question is reagrding sprite. It is a program to backup your mogul, Dude.

If you set up an exchange server account with mail2web (search for the tutorial here on ppcgeeks), all your PIM data, which includes contacts, are synched over the air in real time.
I've been trying tons of roms lately, and all I need to do is enter my mail2web info into activesync after each flash and like magic all my contacts, calendar, etc. are back!

my data speeds are better and i'm not just imagining it....doing speed tests in places i've tested before i'm consistenly getting about 50 to 100 kbit/sec faster
