Re: Sprint HTC Snap
About three weeks ago it was time to get my wife a new phone, coming from a BB Pearl she was instantly drawn to the Snap. We went to the Sprint store over two or three week period and she could not find a phone she liked better than the Snap... I ended up convincing her to get the Treo Pro because I could set up a touch screen better for her use. She is really happy with the Treo Pro but I know without a doubt she would have went for the snap if I let her have her pick LOL.
Its funny reading this thread, seems the Snap is a chick phone. I thought this to myself when I first played with it but this thread pretty much confirms it collectivly. BTW the Treo Pro is a really great phone, almost the same phone as the Snap but with Professional/touch screen

Re: Sprint HTC Snap
Have to add this!
My wife just got a Snap, but only because it was the only WinMo device available at BestBuy... she really wanted the Treo Pro because the keypad was very similar to her old Centro (good riddance on that phone!). That being said, she loves it, and the battery life is great! I doubt I will ever want it, the screen is to small, and if I ever "upgrade" my 6900, it will have to have WiFi.

Re: Sprint HTC Snap
The snap is actually a really good phone. If I used my phone for buisness rather than entertainment I would much rather have it over my pro.
1.) Like it's name it's snappy. The device responds very fast. 2.) Messaging and Email are one handed, and it's capable of picture/video message. 3.) It still has windows mobile: all those awesome programs we all love will run on the snap. 4.) Throw oprah mini on it and it's awesome for browsing. Throw skyfire on it and watch flash. 5.) The battery life really kicks butt, left one on standby for couple days at work. 6.) Inner Circle is cool concept for sorting out email. While the snap isn't the flashiest phone, it's well suited for buisness and communication while still being capable of entertainment. |

Re: Sprint HTC Snap
Oh GOODY! I saw that the Sprint's version of the T-Mobile Dash, now! (Snap). If you will read my previous posts here, I was lamenting on how I had to give up my BELOVED T-Mobile Dash when we we switched to Sprint..
Anyways: I don't really care about Wi-Fi. And I REALLY loved my Dash, so am thinking seriously of switching to it...but I don't want to sign any new contracts or extension! And the price would be about $300 bucks or so, arrrghhh! Still, am gonna look at this, my Touch is kinda wiggin' out on me, had it a year now... Will SMMS work on the Snap?
