Yep, agreed and keep it within easy reach. I've had a couple total lockups tho where there was nothing to do but remove that flimsy cover and stick it to the hole. (or pull the battery)

I could go on, but now I just scratch my head why they made the back cover so hard to take off when they knew we'd be soft resetting this phone once a day.......

your right. But that is my ONLY complaint.

but i did find a trick that works awsome. I don't even hasitate to remove the back cover anymore. Now it's super easy.

Pull out your stylus. right before it is about to be totally out, just use it as a pry bar in it's hole (you don't have to pry hard, just slight pressure). Pry up on the cover and you will hear a click. I slide my finger nail around from that point to the top. It is easy now. I have done it 5 times and it works every time. Try it, you'll like it......

P.S. Someone posted this trick. It wasn't me. I forgot who it was though, sorry

Good tip wedgemoose, thanks for passing it along.
BTW. I now notice I,m in the "crack club". So far it's only hairline and not really noticable.
In the grillwork deadcenter at the top. Hope it gets nobigger.

Doesn't that work good?

Don't worry about your crack. It does not get worse. It almost looks like it's supposed the be there. The line is perfectly straight going up the grill. but on the very top the crack is squiggly. thats how I know it's not supposed to be there.

Although this drives me nuts. It does not get worse. it stays the same. But we should be able to get new ones. that is a $600 phone.

Re: The official, "I wanna kill my Imagio" thread

I thought I was the only one with the crack in the center of top. Damn it, they should have put re-enforce steel/titanium in there to hold it together.

Just becareful when you open the back cover or you'll break the phone.

Re: The official, "I wanna kill my Imagio" thread

Mine was cracked too. I realized that in fact I did crack it because the battery cover was soooo difficult to remove. After ripping a few fingernails, I started using the broad end of the stylus to pry the cover loose. That's what did it.

Solution:
*HTC change the cover's design - not going to happen
*Be creative and alter the cover yourself (reset hole and memory card slot)
*Order the extended battery from VZW (much easier to remove the
cover...I went back to sliding it off with my fingernails, but no more rips)

Hope this helps!
