Re: DROID on the 6th... whos staying WinMo?
so i went inot the verizon store today to talk about a issue with teh back light shining out of the side of the screen on my imagio and had a chance to look at the droid and it confirmed that i made the right choice with the imagio. the build quility of the phone is terrible. i can gaurantee everyone that uses the keyboard frequently will have it bubble up on them just like 4 of the 5 phones they had in the store. unless it was designed that way? The screen did not impress me one bit and it looked a little blurry. however i did love the resonsivness of the touch screen.
the eris looked like a good quility phone but the screen is to small after having the imagio. all in all i feel better about the imagio now. the only thing even made me think that i would want the droid or eris is the screen responsivness |

Re: DROID on the 6th... whos staying WinMo?
I agree about feeling pretty happy staying with the Imagio!
My only issue is the fact that there are a ton more apps for Android then on WinMo. Hopefully that changes!! |

Re: DROID on the 6th... whos staying WinMo?
Wow I'm a sprint user and visited a Verizon store with a friend while he purchased a Droid. That DROID ROCKS. I'd get th moto droid in a heartbeat if Sprint offered it.
The Verizon store was hopping. We had to wait in the queue for like 30 minutes. And they had like 6 reps serving folks. The imagio was nicer than the TP2 (which I have on the way). But the DROID is sweet. Keyboard is a bit squished on teh DROID but still very usable and very little cost added to the thickness is a good compromise. The Slide, the screen, the size, features etc. are just fantastic on teh DROID. The capacitive screen really rocks. Finally something to compete with the iPhone and it's not from HTC. I hope Android gets ported to the TP2. Seems funny a year ago Sprint was getting all the phones and Verizon wasn't and now it's a complete 180 degrees.

Without meaning to offend, which planet are you from!? Windows Mobile has how many years of development behind it? Quite a bit more than Android does. I bet you my Imagio against yours that there are easily as many apps on XDA-Developers as there are in "the marketplace."
