Re: Headset Icon stuck
Well i thought a hard reset would fix this. I was wrong.
The icon was still there, only now I have NO sound whatso ever. Not through headphones, the speaker, no where. I can't activate my phone because theres no sounds to the speaker. Anyone with help at all? |

Re: Headset Icon stuck
If you hard reset and immediately have this problem, I suspect a hardware issue. I would take it into a VZW store and get it replaced.

Update: Hard reset no good, must be hardware. I only have used the jack like 5 times too, I just started using it to play music in my car on Thursday or Friday. POS Update 2: Even better, out of stock at local stores and in warehouse to replace, on hold waiting for the guy to "locate one".

Re: Headset Icon stuck
The same thing happened to me once a few weeks ago, I couldn't get my phone to work at all. I just kept plugging and unplugging the headphones untill the icon went away, it hasn't happened since. Its definitely a hardware issue. Hope this helps.

Re: Headset Icon stuck
You can't activate your phone after a hard reset using *228, Opt. 1? If that doesn't work, call VZW Tech Support and tell them and they may have to manually fix your A-Key I think it is on the account so it's linked correctly. I had that happen a few times with my XV6900 in the past. Simple process, take maybe 10 minutes on the phone.
