I have to say that reminds me of when I bought my first digital answering machine many years ago from Radio Shack when that was a new device. When I asked how many minutes it recorded the answer was: "It is digital without a tape so it can record forever".

So clearly I must be missing out on what everyone else is doing. Why take off the cover after the first day with it unless your a chef constantly experimenting? I know the phone can freeze to the point the end key doesn't work, but if you're on stock or a good custom, it just shouldn't happen very often... Sorry for the rant. |

Re: Anyone considering returning?
Why does it bother me? I'll tell you why...And please don not take this as personal attack, it has to do with "customer service" between me and 2 very large enities, HTC and Verizon.
I pay dam good money for a service and if that service isnt working the way I paid for it to work, then give me some options 1) return the product with a full refund 2) let me exchange the device until I get something that works the way its suupose to. DO NOT give me the fing run around. DO not tell me, OH well so sorry. That does not cut it and in these days of being able to use the internet to relay bad service, I would be very carful if I owned a business. THE Battery Door... Plan and simple its porrly designed. if I want to go into my phone to do a hard reset every day then I should be able to without the fear of breaking a door. Thats all I have, Im fired up so Im going to call Verizon right now. BTW I will not shut up until I'm satisfied! Its my dam money and Im not just handing it out while they advertise something (Best 3G network) and I cannot get me device to stay in 3G. Fix it dam it! |

Re: Anyone considering returning?
I've had to pull the back cover off of mine twice in the past two weeks just from the phone locking up on me. I'm not crazy about having the soft-reset button under there either. Poor design if you ask me, although I may try the method jasjarman said it beats having to carry a nickle with me everywhere I go.
I love the phone, my biggest complaint is the battery. Maybe there was a bad batch but I can't get through a day of light usage. Even my Tilt used to last for a few days when I first got it. |

Re: Anyone considering returning?
Question? If I did trade my Imagio in for a Droid what would I be missing out on? I'm new to smart phones and I need to be able to work with excel and pdf files. I need to be able to use my work email and I'm into the maps thing. GPS, topo, ect. would it be a mistake to trade it in? I have until the 10th to decide Imagio or Droid. What are your thoughts?

Re: Anyone considering returning?
Personally I have an Imagio and I sent it back for a TP2 and I will never look back, I love the fact that the TP2 has a full qwerty keyboard (prob the best one out currently). Sure I could have waited for the Droid but I see two problems with that, 1) it is a new device with a brand new OS, I do not feel like beta testing it 2) the keyboard on the Droid is garbage.
