So what is up with the warning that if your phone breaks with another sim card in it the warranty is voided? Anyone else get that warning and what is the story with that? I mean isn't that what the phone is designed to do?

the only ways they would know u used another sim in the phone during the time ur device broke is (1.) u tell them!! and (2.) the phone broke in a way that u were not able to take it out of gsm only mode!!

number 2 can be fixed in some cases by flashing ur device and relocking before u send in before any factory service!!! other then that sprint and verizon are not smart enoght to determine if your device was broken while using a sim card!!

What warning? The guy I spoke to at VZW global never mentioned anything about that when I unlocked mine.

i havent heard this from verizon ether and i have called for two personal tp2 unlock codes and 5 other peoples tp2!! never heard of this policy but hey it might be new or the rep didnt know what they were talking about!!

I called today to do this as well and apparently since I paid late on my account, even though the payment is reflected and my account has no balance due at the time that I called, I have a 60 day waiting period and have to pay on time for 2 billing cycles before I can do this. They penalize you because you pay late. That's some BS right there. The rep had the audacity to ask me if I understood it. Sure, I understand it but you are treating me like a child. What a bunch of crap.

i would do the same if i was verizon!! thats like u being my boss and signing my timesheet that i worked some hours and i told u i would make those hours that i missed back up!! Then two day later i ask for more time but i have even made up the time i already owe!! u would let me get more off time when i havent ever honored my first agreement!! before u trusted me with more time off im sure u would want me to 1. work the time i owe and 2. show that i can be trusted! so they want to see if u will be paying on time before they do something for u !!

well, i wouldn't work for you. Thank god I work for a company that says you get time off based on the amount of hours you work. If I don't work I don't get the time I deserve, not making a rule that says If you behave a certain way I will give you what you already worked for. BS!

I know I'm bound by VZW rules so I have to deal with it. But this is how I interpret that.
