Re: Waiting for Superphone
im no fanboy, but the camera on my evo is the most important tool i have ever had at work. snapshots of documents straight to email is like having a scanner with me at all times. saves me from carrying around a briefcase full of random paperwork. now, if we just had better support for office

Re: Waiting for Superphone
Is there any "superphone" that is a world phone i.e. has CDMA as well as quad-band GSM? The main reason I purchased an Imagio is so I can use it on the Verizon network in the U.S. and install a local SIM card when traveling in Europe and Asia.

Re: Waiting for Superphone
Yeah, I just got the Droid X as a Bday gift and WOW!!!!! If I am this impressed with the Droid X (granted, I'm coming from the Imagio), then we will all be blown away with any phone that comes out with the specs listed in the first post! I really am completely satisfied with the Droid X. It does everything that I need. At least for now, maybe in the future I will get into Video Calling....

Re: Waiting for Superphone
A "SuperPhone" is really based upon personal preference and usage.
I, for one, like my imagio. At times it can be a bit slow to respond, but nothing all that terrible. I DO wish it it had the HD2 4.3" screen or even a 4" screen like my old HP Ipaq HP4700. I like WinMo, I am used to it and have all the apps that I need. Could I get/want more? Sure, do I NEED them. Not now. So, where do I get an HD2 (or better) running WinMo 6.5.x with a 4" or larger screen a camera with a flash/light running on the Verizon CDMA network with GSM world capabilities? 'nuff said. Rick |
