Best Free GPS Navigation App??? Amaze and Waze are no go

Seems like next2me gives me less than Bing does, for example from what I can see it doesn't give you current gas prices or movie times just the location of gas stations and movie theaters. Plus you need to run two apps instead of one.

I have both Bing and Google Maps installed on my Imagio as well as CoPilot. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I think Bing is the best for searching and with the "Locate Me" function available it's even better on a GSM phone.

Try a new account through waze. I had amaze and I like waze so much better! Its like a facebook gps! haha

Thanks. Shame "Locate me" won't work but I went to "Track Me using GPS" and it essentially does the same thing. Google Maps rendered faster.

So I do get directions with Bing, it will beep or something to remind me a turn is coming up? I'll try that. Otherwise I'm a bigger fan of Google.

"Locate Me" does a quick, rough find of your location using cell tower triangulation. It doesn't work on a CDMA network.

Bing will give you a tone warning of an upcoming turn.

gonna try waze...

i wasnt getting any audio beeps from bing....but anyway i really want the audio feedback im missing from amaze....

anyone know anything free that incorporates that? amaze just isnt good enough to pay that kind of money for...

okay guys - amaze is out and waze just isnt good enough in the tri state nyc area - it doesnt render the best routes and is somewhat intolerable though the turn by turn is great - i have to go ona week long trip and im either gonna pay for vz nav which i think is the best or if somebody else has found something better - i cant get bing to do any sort of tone or alert when a turn is coming up...

anybody found anything new or more moohlah for the big v?
