Re: Custom ROM selection help....

forget it. we posted at the exact same time.

One more thing and i'll leave you alone. Why would you want the energy one over Mr. X. And i mean why "you" prefer it.... does it have stuff that the other one doesn't. I read about energy ROMs before this happened.

Re: Custom ROM selection help....

The first rom I flashed was the max manilla r1 version. It ran great and the speed is just as good but I prefer cookies mods over max manilla. I've flashed every rom posted in the imagio upgrades forum so far and I've settled in with energy 23544 with cookies home tab for now. When Mr. X updates his i'll probably flash to that for a while.

I use kinoma play for youtube so never bothered with the built in app anyway.

Re: Custom ROM selection help....

been running MrX since last night, and the only thing i find myself changing is some of his visual styles. The speed and the responsiveness is great. Still a minor memory leak with Sense, but I guess thats expected.

Re: Custom ROM selection help....

thanks both of you. thats what I was looking for. I think I'm going to start with "Energy". I can't for 2 more days (going away on business and can't take the chance) and hopefully the few little things i want/need will be fixed by then. Sensatti, just wondering, why do you like the "cookie" one better???

The Cookie roms give a little more options, on the home page you can scroll left and right to add more widgets, i find 21895 is a little more stable than 23544 in both Max And Cookie, they all run great if left stock. The 23544 is more finger friendly tho, give them all a try can flash in 10-15 Min

Just download Rom/ Unzip with winrar/ and click on "Rom update Utility" App. Sync your device, make sure you have 50% Battery and load, thats all there is to it, if you dont like the rom you load just repeat with another

Re: Custom ROM selection help....

Are you saying the "Rom update Utility" app is a phone app that's automatically built in??

The RomUpdateUtilityExe is the Rom update, after you unzip, sync your phone to PC and open RomUpdateUtilityExe and follow the instructions and Install it
