Phone memory problem, memory full.

Note: I would suggest figuring out what exactly you want on your phone, upgrade to the latest ROM and reinstall only the programs you want. That way you don't have left over crap from uninstalling all the programs.

Your note at the bottom.... you are correct. I will await some guys to get a build of a ROM together that is likely to make me happy and I will format and reload the phone with that and try to not touch it. I have been through so many .cab files in and out since the beginning that I may some amount of mess left behind. The good thing for me is that unlike some of the folks that I have read posts from, I have no issues from my phone, it clicks along just fine. So whatever I have done has not created havoc in the operating system.

At least I have went 24 hours now with no memory errors, It looks like dumping a bunch of programs has given me the headroom to operate again!

Interesting to note that during this un-installation bonanza of mine, I am gaining internal memory at a rate at almost 2:1 compared to the memory card. And take note that I have adjusted every setting available (not with anyregistry mods) within the software to place everything I can into the 16 GIG memory card. It appears as mentioned earlier that many of the games and programs are being placed into both sides of the device.

Interesting note. Not sure why or how, but just now I did a soft reset of the phone using the Mobile Shell 3.5 soft reset button and I am looking at the memory manager.

As shown above, this is what I got YESTERDAY immediately after deleting a ton of games and some other applications:

So somehow the storage went down more without me deleting things. Does multiple re-boots of the phone help purge the storage memory more completely?
