I read several pages to double check -but now I have read so much here and there I can't find it or I never read it so I wanted to ask you -did I read about some sort of bug connected to "Remove Quick Links"? Did some one say that that causes Manilla to crash?

I haven't seen the quick links bug, I may have missed that. I really don't know what would cause it either . Also, Sense definitely lags a lot less when cooked in.

-Steps for Sense 2.5 2012 Installation (INSTALL ALL TO DEVICE MEMORY):
1. Install .net 3.5
2. Install SDKCerts
3. Disable Auto Phone Shutoff:
-If on battery power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and uncheck Turn off device if not used for
-If on external power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and uncheck Turn off device if not used for
4. Disable TF3D 2.0 (Go to Start/Settings/Today/Items and uncheck HTC Sense or TF3D)
5. Soft Reset

6. InstallSense 2.5 2012 CFC / Sense 2.5 2012 CFC Mirror (CFC Compressed and includes all fixes. Once settled in, it runs very well! It also includes some new tabs and many tweaks/goodies! Plus, the multimedia key is now mapped to rotate the screen)
7. Soft Reset

8. Once everything is loaded and stable:
Enable Auto Phone Shutoff:
-If on battery power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and check Turn off device if not used for
-If on external power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and check Turn off device if not used for

***CAUTION!*** Do not install appearance tweaks designed for any other version of Sense than what you have installed. Example: only install 2.5.2011 tweaks on 2.5.2011, only install 2.1 tweaks on 2.1 and only install 2.0 tweaks on 2.0. Installing incompatible tweaks will more than likely break the interface and you will be headed for another hard reset!

Yeah, it will work, but I can't guarantee full functionality. There are a few TP2 users that reported problems with the music tab. Give it a shot and let me know how it works out.

I haven't had much free time lately (and I didn't think anybody still used it). If there is enough demand for it and time allows, I will update the cab to 2013.

Loaded v2.5 on a Chinese Acer rom. Doesn't work quite well. All titles appeared as "IDS_xxxxx" and "storage card" can't be found from file explorer.

Any idea ?

The reason for the titles showing up like that is because the cab is designed using English files, since your ROM is not, it will not display the correct title.

As far as the storage card goes, there is a post with a link somewhere in the last few pages (I would find it, but I gotta get going).

It seems 2013 is faster than 2012. If you have time could you please update the cab to 2013. Or if you could guide me how to create a cab out of the OEM files as I have the OEM files for 2013.

Slow download.

Need to know how to disable lanscape for music and pictures/videos since I cabbed it on a rom that already does that for them so they appear upside down now.

My settings icon/shortcut was deleted.

Messaging is very slow. 3 seconds first screen, 6 for the second, and 25 using the back button. No problem though, since I use the message quick link and its 6 seconds in and 3 out depending on the amount of messages loaded and how fast you can touch them.

Cant get cht to work since it was romd on with nrgs. No home screen editor like I had before to move items around.

Otherwise on other menus is a tad slower then my nrg sense rom. Which means its pretty smooth and fast.
