Re: HELP! :) cant sync - driver access denied

when I first connected it installed a driver immediatly. Then once I saw it didn't work and found my solution(un-check that box) and re-connected, it installed a new/different driver. Then everything worked perfect. No resets on the phone or the computer.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!! and it shouldn't be this way. I don't know why we had(you still having) this problem..........

SOLVED!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!!

yes - i tried everything - from what i learnd during this 10 hour adventure is that it should NEVER have to go to windows update - all the drivers are encased within WMDC...

i once again did a fresh reinstall of WMDC and then tried to sync my current phone which happens to be a motorola napoleon just to see if it would work....it didnt - it had to reinstall drivers - which i kind of remember being a pain but i did get it to work but also this is kinda a secret phone to begin with...

so it installed immediately...

and so then i thought well let me see if this someone will grease the wheels...and wham bam - the imagio goes right on....

but.....syncing kept stopping....i let it run and then stopped it and restarted and it just wouldnt finish....so i went for it and checked the fast sync and BAM! - it synced totally and i just tested it again and it worked!

thank you to all - i REALLY appreciate the help and support and hope this adds to knowledge - maybe first install a phone that does work or reinstall if you already have a partnership and then try....

who knows??

now the imagio adventure begins

Good man!!!!!!! I just went back and re-checked the fast connection. Now it works on that. Your right, get a phone that works first and then the rest will

but we shouldn't have to do this. thanks
