Faster focus lock is an improvement and worth the cab. The title of the thread may be a tad overdone but I'm grateful for the generosity and community spirit. Thanked!

AF seems quicker and app seems a little more responsive, thought that could always be mem load at the time. Won't have a good test until I am home and try to get a pic of the kids, then I'll know if there is any real improvement in AF. Typically objects not in motion AF in 1-2 anyway and only things moving cause a problem.

What is your camera version? I would say probably, but I don't know if the camera software is the same or not.

No it will only work with the same hardware camera as the HD2 which is identical to the camera in the hero, eris, and imagio. Though it won't work on android devices till the passion/dragon comes out, I'm sure it will have the fix. After the fix you can just hear it now when the autofocus starts working, it is just much quicker, and louder for some reason, hey if it wears it out I'll pay a hundred and get a new one. But it is a real release from htc so it shouldn't affect the hardware.

Was trying to take pics of a 3 week old. couldn't even get one not blury. Installed the cab. I would say unbelievebly better. Thanks for posting.
