Google Nav released for 1.6, any chance of this on a Hero rom?

Google Nav has been released for Android 1.6 (http://googlemobile.blogspot.com/200...ogle-maps.html) you guys think there's any chance this will be able to be modified and cooked into a Rom?

I use google maps way more then Sprint Navigation...

apparently it won't happen, do to some API calls not available in Android 1.5. only getting it with a 1.6 or 2.0 ROM (that's what I had read, I obviously could be wrong!!)

Not wrong. It won't happen until HTC gives us our 2.0 update. Or until someone rebuilds the kernel and makes 1.6 work on our phones. Ha.

Waiting on Sprint/HTC we've got a better chance of a rom with 1.6 lol
