Also I noticed a new picture on the screen if you don't have a caller pic. Its pretty funny, 3d android guy haha.

In addition to what others have mentioned I noticed one other things that was fixed. Before the update I was not able to go to msnbc on the browser and play any of the video files. They now play.

Okay, I am rooted and on Modaco's rom. How do I "RUU" or whatever this is in order to install the update?

Run your nandroid restore

Flash the Stock RUU, I linked it in my tips thread

Use OTA update on phone

When done you will have re-root then re-flash.

Other option, since you can't run modaco with this update yet is to just run nandroid restore,

Reboot

Flash Fresh .4 beta MR it is a great rom.

Okay, I am a bit lost again. I know to hold vol down and power to get to the menu to run Nandroid restore. What do you mean by flash the stock RUU? And what is OTA update? Is that the new update?

I've stuck with the stock Sprint rom. I didn't really have any significant problems/complaints except for soft resets screwing up the app's icons/labels. That one problem has thankfully been resolved - and I always thought the issue was with the app not the phone itself. I didn't have any issues with sms before and it still is not an issue. After update: awake time was 9% last night, this morning down to 5% - pretty much like it was before. Satisfied thus far... but looking forward to 2.0
