Re: Restore stock recovery img? (unroot)

I did hard reset from the phone menu and from the bootloader screen. Which method did you use? The phone synced just fine with HTC Sync before I started using google. So I don't think its a usb issue, I believe the issue itself is with the actual program running on windows 7. But I don't know.

Re: Restore stock recovery img? (unroot)
I've been having the same problem with RUU. I have tried it with both Fresh 0.5d and MoDaCo 1.1 and still get stuck at Error 171.
I wiped from recovery mode and that seemed to work, even though I still got the "Fresh" boot splash and sound. The phone software version also said it was 1.29.651.2 (the updated version) after the wipe. |

You have to flash back to stock with nandroid back-up, hard reset, then run RUU.

OK, I just got RUU to work after going back to MoDaCo 1.1. I'm starting over from scratch.

If you didn't make a nandroid backup you need to flash a stock rom, but I am not sure how that would happen without a version made up into a zip. Maybe someone could extract it from the RUU. |
