download a screen cap app, if it works, you're rooted.

WiFi tether won't work for me unless I am using modaco's rom.

Re: Rooting

Now that I am rooted, how do I go about getting the apps to download to the SD card? I realized after the root and rom update that I forgot to partition the sd card. I hope this can be fixed easily.

Its a quick fix. Heres what you do:

Copy all data back off of SD card from the format we did.

Power down and up into recovery mode

Pick Partition SD: Fat32, Ext2, Swap you will press home to confirm

This will erase all data on sd card... So make sure you backed it up!! Hahaha...

Reboot phone, when it comes up it will automatically have apps on sd now. You can check in Settings>SD Card & phone storage> at the bottom that number should be around 70. Or, look in my tips thread and theres another way to make sure it worked, but I just check in settings thats the important part to me haha.

Copy all data back to SD Card and enjoy your new rom!
