I am using your links.
Doing this now
At the end it says I need to download a root program. Which should I download? Should I download one before I start?

In step 2.1 it says to download asroot2 and put it in AndroidSDK\Tools. That is your root program. And yea go ahead and download it.

Also you need a recovery image, let me get you a link... Here you go That should also go in the AndroidSDKTools folder

You can delete nandroid, it is included in the recovery image, this thing is a beast. I am not saying you won't do it, only that you already have it!
