my messaging app opens by its self. i kill it . and it comes back.. im trying to make my phone go to sleep.. thats why my battery life is so bad..

but it still wont sleep..

Have u used it today to send a message? Turn off notifications in the stock app completely and dload handcent. Then reset and see what happens. Should work.

I have no idea why its opening. Are you still at 100% usage time? If not then I wouldn't worry about it. It isn't messaging it is when you send a message with it that is the problem.

When I am done, what will I be able to do? I know I will be able to take screen shots, and delete Sprint bloat ware, but what else?
