Re: Sprint Hero rooted?
Can we get a quick rundown or maybe a sticky on exactly how to use this? I'm not new to phone hacking or linux by any means, but this does make me really nervous. I'd like some hand holding for my first Hero flash, if somebody doesn't mind

Im away from my PC, do I need it? I have the flashrec app and the custom image but no clue on how to use the 2, there are too many inconsistent instructions from what I've seen through Googling. |

Re: Sprint Hero rooted?
I rooted the phone using some instructions off of androidforums. It basically used some files from the Flashrec app, PDAnet, and the android sdk. I have successfully rooted the phone but then I tried actually installing and running the Flashrec app on the phone and keep getting a "Could not run command" error.
I was wondering if those instructions already had me create an image and now I can't seem to run Flashrec? |
