Re: Sprint Hero rooted?
if you have copied or made a backup of the image to your sd card, once u get to the recovery screen by turning the phone off and turning the phone on holding the power and menu buttons, you can create your backup image...

It just booted my phone up but now I see a transparent "Safe mode" right over menu button on the screen. And there is a small image over one of my shortcuts on the home screen with lem, load, ing and gadg. But it does nothing when I try and click on it. Seems as though there are other things there too but I can't see them as they are cut off. |

Re: Sprint Hero rooted?
Guys,
I had trouble loading the adb usb drivers on xp for a friend. Ended up downloading them for him. Here they are in case anyone else needs them: http://www.anddev.org/debugging-inst...ver-t3236.html

Re: Sprint Hero rooted?
Now that it has been rooted would be possible to get a sticky created in the forum with the instructions that have been posted. Then perhaps a list of apps that can be removed without adversely effecting the phone or causing too many forced kills could be posted as well.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.5; en-us; A6277 Build/CUPCAKE) AppleWebKit/528.5+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Mobile Safari/525.20.1)
I was hoping for a sticky for the tips thread in my Sig. It has links for rooting w a video. But we def news something w all the apps. I'll link how to remove them when im at a pc.
