Text messages from HTC?
I got two text messages from HTC (40404). They read as follows
htc: There is still no new information on future updates to Hero. That doesn't mean their won't be updates, just no new info right now. And htc: Those of you with the Touch Pro2 on Vodafone, got get your 6.5 update! Let us know what you think http://bit.l/432BDP Is it normal to have HTC send me text messages?

Were they via text?
That was an HTC update via twitter. Weird if it somehow crossed from twitter into a text.

40404 is the number from twitter. Are you following HTC on twitter? You probably have twitter set to send you updates via text message.

Yeah, I think I've noticed that when I start following new people it automatically adds SMS updates. Not a big deal to me.

Yeah you have to go into your Twitter account/settings/notifications and change the way you are notified about tweets. peace-br
