So far this PDAnet is a JOKE!!! I have followed all the instructions to the tee, and nothing on any computer! Glad I didn't pay for this crap!

Re: internet tethering with sprint htc hero

for those of you who are getting runtime errors, uninstall HTC Sync if it's already installed. Try reinstalling PDAnet after.

That you would have to test it yourself, but I don't see it being a problem.

But why would you want to? HTC Sync is garbage! haha.

The PDAnet site for Android says that PDAnet and HTC Sync are NOT compatible, and they will fix that in their next update...

I love HTC Sync. It syncs up my Outlook. Why do yo think it is garbage? Is there a better sync program that I could use for the Hero?

because from my testing, it's either HTC Sync or Google Sync that makes my hero not be able to sleep. Removing stock message program is not the only solution. I feel like it could be both HTC Sync or Google.

I'm done hardresetting my phone and setting everything up again. just gonna wait on the fix from htc.
